The Office on African Affairs (OAA):

• Provides constituent services and information to African communities through programmatic activities and outreach materials;
• Serves as a liaison between the African communities, District government agencies, and the Mayor;
• Provides briefings to the Mayor and District government agencies about the particular needs or interests of the African residents of the District of Columbia.
